The caveat matters more here than at most places, and it comes up repeatedly: the outdoor space is not securely enclosed. The terrace is only partly fenced, with a low run of wire across the rest that a determined or curious dog can get under, and guests have described spending time on arrival making it safe themselves before letting a dog out. The owner has helped with this when asked, but it is not a garden you can open the door onto and walk away from. If your dog will not stay put unsupervised, plan on a lead or bring a run of your own.
