Sundowners is a large, modern house at the top end of Salcombe with an enclosed garden, and that combination makes it one of the more practical Salcombe lets for a group travelling with dogs. Bifold doors open from the kitchen and diner straight onto the garden, which is fully enclosed with a gate at the top of the steps down to the parking, so dogs can be let out without anyone standing guard.
Dogs are genuinely catered for rather than merely permitted, and the house takes up to two. Guests have travelled here with more than one dog between them and found the layout works - two separate lounges and a lot of space mean people and dogs are not on top of each other.
