The location is the strongest thing about it for anyone with a dog: paths drop down through the woods to the river and the town, and guests describe the climb back up as properly energetic, which suits a dog with energy to burn.
Dogs are welcome without fuss, and that comes through clearly from guests who bring one, including repeat visitors who have stayed more than once with the same dog. The apartment is spacious, access is by key safe so arrival times are flexible, and communication from the owners is consistently praised. Homemade flapjacks are a nice touch on arrival.
