Oak Tree Farm is a restored farmhouse on the edge of Yoxford, an unhurried village in the Suffolk countryside a short drive inland from the Heritage Coast. It is run as a small bed and breakfast, and the appeal is the setting: a walled garden, open fields on the doorstep and the sort of quiet that makes an early start with a dog a pleasure rather than a chore.

Heating has also drawn comment: the timer has been set tight enough that a room can be cold first thing, so say something on arrival if that matters to you.
