Largo Law by Wigwam Holidays is a small cluster of insulated timber cabins on Pitcruvie Farm, a little inland from Lundin Links on the Fife coast, and the setup suits dogs about as well as a site this size can. Every cabin looks out over the Firth of Forth, parking sits close but out of sight, and wheelbarrows are provided for the short trip from car to door, which matters when the load includes a dog bed, a crate and a week of food.

Dogs are welcome in the cabins, and guests who bring them describe the whole thing as straightforward: arrive, light the campfire, walk out of the door onto the tracks. Walking is the strongest card here. The Fife Coastal Path runs along the shore below the site, the beaches at Lower Largo and Elie are within a short drive, and Largo Law itself gives a steeper hour for a dog that needs the miles. The site is small and owner-run, and guests travelling with dogs single out how easy the host makes things without hovering. Cabins are reported immaculate on arrival and properly equipped, so a wet dog and a hard floor are not a problem, and the site is quiet enough that a barky dog will not be lost in a crowd.

Worth knowing before booking: this is a self-catering cabin on farmland rather than a hotel, so there is no reception, no restaurant and no shop, and food needs bringing in. Dogs are charged for individually and go onto the booking as an extra when you reserve the cabin, so bringing two costs more than bringing one.
