Dog owners keep making the same point, that the walking starts the moment you step outside, and that the sandy beaches a short drive along the coast are the kind dogs remember. Guests have set off from here with small children, a dog and a wheelchair user in the same party, which says something useful about the ground close by.
The house is spacious and light, every bedroom has its own bathroom, and there is a terrace and a sitting area looking out over the water where a dog will happily pass an afternoon watching the birds. Parking takes two cars. The marina, with a restaurant, a cafe and shops, is a short drive.
The one thing to plan around is that there is no enclosed garden. A dog cannot just be let out. There is a patch of grass at the side of the property and that is the extent of it, so every toilet trip is a lead trip.
